Bali Honeymoon – Favourite Honeymoon Destinations

Honeymoon Destination

What is your plan right after the wedding day? mostly “just married” couple would answer “going for a honeymoon”. Usually they plan their honeymoon from months before their wedding day, but some also have last minute plan to go overseas for their honeymoon trip.

Considered as one of the most favorite tropical island honeymoon destinations in the world, Bali is well known for its friendly people, fine arts, unique culture, beautiful scenes of nature, and world class hotels and resorts. Ubud, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Sanur, Nusa Dua are the areas where most honeymoon couples choose to spend their time in Bali, because this area is more calm, not crowded, and places of many five star hotels and resorts. While some honeymoon couple also choose more crowded places like kuta, legian, seminyak for their honeymoon in Bali, here you can find many types of bar and restaurant, local food, souvenir shop along the road, and many shopping spots. In my opinion it is better to spend more time on your honeymoon trip to experience Bali at the most, maybe a while at more quiet places like Ubud or Nusa Dua, and a while at more crowded places like Kuta, Legian and Seminyak.

Things to do in Bali? you can try sight seeing Bali by renting a car and local driver or buy a Bali tour packages from local tour company that spread around the tourism area in Bali. There are many places that are trademark of Bali, like Tanah Lot and Kuta, while many other spots are also totally worth to visit. Watersport also one of most favorite things to do in Bali, it is located in Tanjung Benoa, nearby Nusa Dua area. Enjoy the local food can be considered if you like to try, mostly balinese food is little bit spicy but tasty, like Suckling Pig (Babi Guling).

While there are many other things to do in Bali that i’ll mention in the future blog post. Last but not least is Bali honeymoon photos, i have many honeymoon couple that engage honeymoon photography session during their trip in Bali. We visit good photography spot that represents Bali, like: sunset beach, rice field, rice terrace, water palace, bali traditional architecture, and many others. Some of them like full day session of Bali photo tour and some of them like a short photo session ( 1 – 3 hours) inside their hotels or resorts and nearby locations.
