Frequently asked question by most people about bali is “Where is Bali”? Bali is an island in the country of Indonesia, lying between Java and Lombok island. With a population more than 4 millions people and increasing, mostly balinese people embrace Balinese Hinduism religion. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country with the Ngurah Rai international Bali airport as the only and the main gate for tourists come to bali with garuda airlines as an indonesian biggest flight company travel to and from Bali. Mostly spoken languages in Bali are Balinese and Indonesian, and English is a common third language (and the primary foreign language) of many Balinese for foreign tourist.

Bali is famous for its highly developed fine art, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, wood carving, metal working, and music. Bali currency is IDR (Indonesian Rupiah), although USD and other foreign currencies also easily accepted in many places because many tourist from around the globe come to visit (Don’t worry, there is a lot of money changer spreading around Bali island). Bali weather is tropical, divide into 2 seasons (Rainy and Dry season), Rainy season from October to March and Dry season from April to September.

Some call it the island of the Gods, this tropical island inhabited by a remarkably artistic friendly people who have created a dynamic society with unique arts and ceremonies. Tri Hita Karana, is a concept of life practiced by Balinese people. It is a life concept of three relationship, between 1) human and God, 2) human and human, 3) human and environment. It has been practiced since a long time ago by the ancestors and still practiced until now in Balinese daily life.

Bali island is a magical island blessed with beautiful nature. Look on Bali tourist map and you will find actually many things to do in Bali. There is some tourist area that might be interesting to check, such as Ubud, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Uluwatu, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Canggu, also Denpasar. Bali is a famous destination for beach wedding, bali pre wedding photo, engagement photos, bali honeymoon and family holiday. Local photographers and destination photographer also loves Bali, they love Bali simply for it’s beauty and maybe even the influence from spirits that certainly abide in this place. It is a feeling that is difficult to understand unless experienced but once visited you are surely compelled to come back and you may even want to stay forever.
